Shallow Ground

A decent little no budget horror film, if nothing else has an original premise, which has been completely absent in the horror genre it seems an age. This begins with an opening of cracks in which a teenager gets angry bloody in the woods with a knife.

The city is about stopping at the store and go on, but the mysterious figure seems to have other ideas and just keep spattering blood out. The plot doesn Shallow Ground It does not really hold water after all the twists and turns have been eliminated, in fact, the argument seems to have less meaning more questions are answered - also the film suffers from the usual defects associated with independent films made cheaply (variable quality, ropey writing and crying out for some tighter editing), but as its budget was something like seven thousand dollars, Shallow Ground is an amazing little card of a creative team to keep an eye on.
