There was a bullet, which is digging up this hole, got out and saw the most excellent, innovative, out and out rock and roll DVD’s grace dirty little hands. Of course it is the U2 Elevation Tour DVD.
Simply the biggest band of recent times. You thought rock’n’roll was dead, thought wrong. [...]

As with all films of Ed Sullivan “I saw the picture quality and audio Rockin The Sixties is well in hand. On this DVD if there is a catastrophic failure, ie the same song on the album twice!
(Jefferson Airplane). But there is much to enjoy music, the best of the group should [...]

Like James Brown commanded the stage at the Apollo Theater in Harlem 20 years, as Daryl Hall and John Oates took to the stage it in 1983, producing a similarly captivating and soul-filled spectacle. Performing a powerhouse of songs from their first best-of “, the duo started 16 of their large numbers - including [...]

This is undoubtedly an outstanding performance, both musically and in terms of characterization. The artists seem to really enjoy them and in this opera that is crucial.
The whole atmosphere of fairy tales is maintained at all times and nowhere in the beginning of it to take too seriously. All effects?

In 1977, following the black blood dripping from Taxi Driver with a revisionist musical seemed like a bad idea and therefore the film was empty for it. In fact 2 ½ hours of a musical with Liza Minelli is a scary prospect indeed - until you see the movie. New York, New York is [...]

Brian De Palma is a filmmaker who has existing ideas and regurgitated into something fresh and original (or at least tries). Usually it is Hitchcock, who enters the list of De Palma’s “of things to keep, but this time the classic tales of” Phantom of the Opera “and the legend of alemán’Fausto ‘which receives [...]

This is an excellent document of the performance of Son Volt. A great selection of songs (only Uncle Tupelo, the rest later) with several outstanding tracks, the band sound relaxed and warm. The sound quality is excellent, as expected.
Subtleties children: the expansive, well-lighted movie set seems open and kind of a [...]

This is a must for any 70/80 ’s rocker who could not wait for Kerrang every Wednesday (as it was then) and he sat all night just to see a bit of metal on the TV (SKY days before ).
A fun DVD for a trip down memory lane and if the [...]

Think back to the last time I went to a big rock show that he never wanted to end. You could feel the raw musical talent and the power of the series through his body.
Recorded in June 2005 in Germany for the legendary television rockshow ‘Rockpalast’ at the Burg Satzvey captures Merchernich’Live [...]

What this proved to be dissapiontment. Again, a DVD called together using the same sources that have appeared in several disks.
It begins with a lengthy interview with Nick Simper (which put his team in history), totally ignored the first three LP’s, misses ‘Concerto’ through Come Taste” La Banda ‘and that was [...]

Very basic recording, in technical terms, from 1984. It is the final meeting, it was learned, but the last (to the best of my knowledge), to join the Tommy Makem Clancy. Makem voice is as instantly recognizable as Ronnie Drew and Luke Kelly, and Liam Clancy’s is soft and lyrical.
The other [...]
